In recent years his work has focused on his musical settings of poems by his relative admired Cornish poet, Charles Causley as well as penning his own songs and reviving lost gems from his home county.
Jim has played, toured and recorded alongside The Watersons, Martin Carthy, Shirley Collins, Michael Morpurgo, Show of Hands, Kate Rusby, and many more. He was described by MojoMagazine as “the finest singer of his generation”.
