A folksy trio, but one with a very sophisticated sound —Hunter Muskett is a UK trio featuring Chris George, Terry Hiscock, and Doug Morter — all on vocals and acoustic guitar — sometimes singing solo, sometimes in a warmly harmonic mode that really sounds great with full backings. And the backings are subtle— a wonderful balance that never softens the sound at all.

Doug, Terry and Roger gave us a masterclass in mellifluous music of great warmth and charm: Doug's flawless lead guitar, ably backed by Terry's solid fingerstyle, anchored by Roger's bass and enhanced by his contributions on mandoline and glockenspiel. These three Musketteers, comfortable in their own company and seamless in their musicality, showed the clear results of years of close collaboration, rehearsal and performance. Their writing showed great invention both lyrically and melodically. Their harmonies embellished the songs and they succeeded in establishing a close connection with an appreciative audience.
